QR Codes

InSkill uses QR Codes as one of the ways to begin a diagnosis on a device. There are 2 different approaches that can be used: Static QR Codes or Dynamic Qr Codes.

Static QR Codes

Static codes contain information used to identify a device along with other static information that does not change.

A static QR code is a good choice if your device does not have a UI or if it is not possible to change the UI. It is also a good way to get started and grants the convenience of scanning a QR code to begin the diagnosis.

Dynamic QR Codes

Dynamic QR Codes can be generated on the fly and displayed in the UI of the device. They can include identifying information along with data that may be relevant to the diagnosis such as logs or error codes.

InSkill offers the tools needed to generate these QR codes.
