When you have a QR code for your device, starting a diagnosis is really simple.

After scanning the QR code you will be able to see that device's tasks and resources.

How do you get a QR code?

InSkill offers the tools needed to add this feature to your own product. InSkill supports 2 types of QR codes:

  • Static QR Codes
  • Dynamic QR Codes

Static codes contain information used to identify a device along with other static information that does not change.

Dynamic QR Codes can be generated on the fly and displayed in the UI of the device. They can include identifying information along with data that may be relevant to the diagnosis such as logs or error codes.

QR codes are not required and if you do not wish to use them, you can still diagnose your device and use observations to collect data.
