Adding Videos

Training, inspection, operating, and troubleshooting videos can be added to a copilot as resources. Videos can be added in two ways: by uploading a video file directly to InSkill, or by linking a video hosted on a third-party site such as YouTube or Vimeo.

What you will need:

  • A video file, or the URL of a hosted video

Direct uploads are limited to 400MB and must be mp4 files.

Uploading a Video File

Follow these steps to upload a video file directly to InSkill:

  1. In the Manage portal, select the copilot you want to add resources to.

  2. Open the Resources tab.

  3. Select -- Add New Resource -- > Video.

  4. Drop or upload the video file in the File Upload area.

  5. Enter a title that describes the video's content. The title is pre-filled with the file name.

  6. Click Save. The video appears in the resource list on the left.

Linking a Hosted Video

Follow these steps to add a video hosted on a third-party site:

  1. In the Manage portal, select the copilot you want to add resources to.

  2. Open the Resources tab.

  3. Select -- Add New Resource -- > Video.

  4. Enter the video's URL in the URL field.
