Admin Portal
Admin Portal Overview
The Admin Portal serves as the central nervous system for your organization's governance, workforce management, and external partnerships. It is designed to provide granular control over how every individual and entity interacts with your technical knowledge base.
Within the Admin Portal, you will find specialized hubs for managing every facet of your account, including the Team, Customers, Roles, Account, Suppliers, User Log, and Security tabs.
Team Management
This portal is where you build and oversee your workforce within the InSkill ecosystem. You have absolute control over how each team member interacts with the platform:
- User Creation & Roles: Add new members to your team and assign specific roles—such as Admin, Author, or Technician—to define their functional permissions and access levels.
- Visibility Control: Protect sensitive intellectual property by determining exactly which copilots and resources are visible to specific users.
- Asset Group Association: Link users to specific groups of assets. This ensures, for example, that a technician assigned to the "West Wing" only sees the guidance and machines relevant to their specific area of responsibility.
- User Log: Maintain a complete audit trail of all platform activities to ensure compliance and track team engagement.
Account and External Settings
Beyond internal workforce management, the Admin Portal houses the foundational settings that govern your entire organization and its place in the broader industrial supply chain:
- Account & General Settings: Manage your organization’s core profile, institutional branding, and global system preferences to ensure a consistent experience across the platform.
- Security: Configure high-level security protocols, such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and multi-factor authentication, to keep your data secure.
- Supplier and Customer Management: For organizations operating within a complex supply chain, this is where you govern relationships with external partners:
- Suppliers: Manage the manufacturers and vendors who publish and share copilots directly to your account.
- Customers: Configure and control how your own expert copilots are shared with the clients who operate your equipment in the field.
Together, these tools ensure that your InSkill environment remains secure, organized, and perfectly aligned with your organizational structure.
